Elle Pierre, PMHNP

Elle Pierre is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who assesses and treats adults and adolescents with depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use disorders. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. Elle received her training at Grand Canyon University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on for her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and received her certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining National Psychiatry LLC, she was a nurse in Naples Community Hospital and Gulf Coast Medical Center. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and is fluent in Creole and French.

Watson Camilus, PMHNP

Watson Camilus is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC).  He is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.  Watson possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by his natural ability to build rapport with patients and families.  He follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.  He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah, and then earned his Master of Science degree at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He holds a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

Ryan Hughes, PMHNP

Ryan worked as an RN at an inpatient geropsychiatry unit in his hometown, Knoxville, TN. Shortly after, he decided to go back to school to become a practitioner to increasingly optimize the health of his patients. Ryan chose the field of psychiatry out of a passion to truly get to know patients and understand them in a unique way. Making a difference and providing mental clarity to patients are what matters most to him. His never-ending goal is to provide the simplest, most natural, and effective plan for patients to reach their highest potential. In his spare time, Ryan loves to learn, play sports such as tennis and jiu jitsu, walk his golden retriever Sully, cook, do anything outside, and spend time with family.

Richard Capiola, MD

Having triple board certification in general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, Dr. Capiola moved to Naples in 2003 and has been in practice for 28 years. In his years of training at Tulane Medical School and UCLA, Dr. Capiola developed a keen interest in the treatment of depression and anxiety overlapping with drug and alcohol abuse. This focus eventually led to his 14-year role as Chief Medical Officer for Oglethorpe Inc., a hospital company specializing in the treatment of mental health and addiction. He has been instrumental in the clinical development and oversight of 12 specialty treatment centers in five states. Dr. Capiola is the Chief of Psychiatry for Physicians Regional Medical Center and previously served as the Medical Director for the Willough at Naples for many years. He also has a 10-year history of service with The Joint Commission, which evaluates hospitals around the country for quality of care and patient safety. Dr. Capiola consistently receives high praise for his confidential private practice that focuses on using each person’s own inherent strengths to achieve the goal of living a happy, healthy and well-balanced life. Dr. Capiola treats children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Capiola was the featured neuropsychiatrist in the book Don’t Give Up on Me with Darryl Strawberry, discussing the impact of addiction on the brain.

Majd Alsamman, MD

Dr Alsamman has a board certification in General Psychiatry and Neurology. He graduated and finished his residency in Austin TX. Dr. Alsamman is the Chief of Psychiatry for Shore Point Behavioral Health and the Medical Director for the unit. He previously served as the Medical Director for the Center of Psychiatry in Winter Haven hospitals for over 15 years. He has worked with the state of Florida and has experience working with the Florida Assertive Treatment Center in Winter Haven, FL.

Danielle Wilson MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Danielle Wilson is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in healthcare. This experience is inclusive of ER, Trauma, intensive care, addiction medicine, primary care, urgent care, community health, infectious disease, psychiatry, pediatrics and much more. While majoring in Microbiology and Public Health at the University of South Florida, Danielle developed an interest in gaining cultural competence and deep understanding of people’s behavior, leading her to add Sociology and Religious Studies to her academic portfolio with a Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. Later, she earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Danielle discovered her passion for mental health and addiction medicine during her work in Emergency departments nationwide, working as a community health Nurse practitioner with the homeless community in South Florida and as Pediatric urgent care NP treating unaccompanied minors in Texas. This motivated her to pursue a Post-master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University. Danielle understands that being physically ill or have challenges with mental health has a profound impact on the individuals and their loved ones, leading to significant impairments in all aspects of their lives. That’s why she firmly believes that providing comprehensive access to mental and medical care is crucial in helping patients achieve optimal health and stability during their journey to recovery. This will help maintain mental clarity, ultimately supporting their successful transition back optimal health. She is dedicated to providing a compassionate and patient-centered experience, treating every patient as she would desire her family member to be treated. She continued to Saint Thomas University, earning her Master of Science in Nursing. Carlin holds a licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Before joining the National Psychiatry Network Carlin was a Registered Nurse with Hope Healthcare and Naples Community Hospital.
